The Radiology Interest Group and AI in Medicine Club will be co-hosting Dr. Serge Sicular for a town hall meeting about AI and the future of radiology. Dr. Sicular is the Director of Emergency Imaging and an Assistant Professor at Mount Sinai, as well as Chief Medical Information Officer at Imagen Technologies, a New York startup that builds FDA-cleared, AI-enabled diagnostic imaging services. As a practicing radiologist working on the development of new AI tools, Dr. Sicular has an invaluable perspective on the future of radiology and clinical medicine on the whole. He will discuss his journey straddling academic medicine and the startup world before participating in a moderated Q&A discussion.

Whether you are considering radiology, curious about how AI startups work with academic medicine, or skeptical about algorithms reading scans, this is an excellent opportunity to have your questions answered!

All ZSOM students and faculty are welcome. Food will be served at 3:00 PM — full buffet in the West Lounge.
