About AIM
AIM is a student-run organization at the Zucker School of Medicine built around the idea that AI fluency should be part of every physician's toolkit.
Why the club exists
AI is rapidly being integrated into medical education, research, and clinical practice. Regardless of specialty, every future physician will work alongside these tools. AIM was founded because we went looking for a place to discuss this revolutionary change and found it did not yet exist.
What we do
Club events: open to the whole ZSOM student body and faculty. We hold workshops, guest speakers, and panels on how AI is being used in clinical practice and medical education.
Pilot research course: a five-session course for students who want to dive deeper into AI skills for medical research.
Open forum: our GroupMe is a place for students to share ideas and discuss current happenings in the world of AI and medicine
